This web address links to the online version of the NHS Standard Electronic Application Form for applications to Research Ethics Committees in the UK on the main National Research Ethics Service (formerly COREC) web site.

This online version allows you to fill in and submit your applications electronically. If you are a first time user, please read the information on the provided link before you proceed to login.

Please note that if you have declared your study to be Site Specific Exempt at A6 of the main application, you do not need to complete the SSIF section of the form or send any part of this to ORECNI.

The SSIF section is generated to allow researchers outside NI to apply for R&D approval. R&D in Northern Ireland is managed through the appropriate Trust Research Governance Pathways prior to ethical review.
